Marble worktops can really add an elegant touch to your kitchen with each slab being completely unique. It is more prone to etching and scratches as it’s a softer material than granite and quartz but it can be face polished to remove all marks. Although we seal all marble worktops before they leave the yard we do recommend resealing every 1-2 years to prevent stains. Marble is still a very safe and practical choice for kitchens and bathrooms it’s been used for years as cafe tables, butcher shops and many other heavy traffic areas.
